Little Timothy Awbrey loves his family more than anything in the world. Building sand castles with his brother and sister, teaching the dog to do tricks, and listening to his mother read them all bed time stories are among his favorite pastimes. But sometimes, he notices things that trouble him. His mother never kisses him goodnight, never hugs him as she does his brother and sister, rarely even acknowledges him at all. Timothy loves his mother, and he is sure she loves him just as much, but sometimes she makes him feel as though he were invisible.
